Black Cat Rebellion

Black Cat Rebellion is made up of Brad St. Patrick (vocals/guitar), Rob Neutzman (bass), Patrick Meadows (guitar) and Ben Galvin (drums). This Bohemian, primal Rock n Roll band for undesirables started back in 2003 by Brad and Rob, and their sound has been compared to Post Punk and Deathrock.

All of Black Cat Rebellion’s members have grown up in the Indianapolis and Muncie punk scenes, respectively. When they were younger and attending shows, everyone in the crowd had their own band. “Everyone supported each other, and it was a beautiful thing. Very inspirational for you to get out there and do it yourself.”

So they did.

Black Cat Rebellion performs around four to five times each month regionally and then they tour spontaneously. Chicago, Cincinnati and Louisville are some popular cities that they’ve played the most. Aside from their own tours, they have played multiple festivals, including the Heavy Rebel Weekender, Cornerstone, Rockabilly Rebel Weekend and Drop Dead Festival. They’ve also appeared as the soundtrack to an episode of ESPN 2′s “Hot Rod Trucks” show.

“We always give our all and play like we’re playing for our lives. We just came off a long string of shows. Coming up, we’ll be at The Melody Inn on September 5 and Be Here Now in Muncie on October 19. We constantly add last minute/unannounced shows, but mostly we will be concentrating on finishing up our upcoming album in the coming months.”┬áPrior to their album’s release, watch for Black Cat Rebellion’s promo video for the song Blood Donor.

The members of Black Cat Rebellion have been in former bands such as The Cadavers, Gwen Stacy, Dead End Drive-In and more. Rob also currently performs with Ricky Rat of Detroit’s legendary Trash Brats. They have only been to ORANJE in the past as guests, but are ready to show the crowd on October 12 what they’re all about. When asked what’s in store for us at ORANJE, the band simply replied, “sex and death.”

Make sure to catch Black Cat Rebellion on October 12 at ORANJE 2013, playing on the PBR Stage! You can keep up with them on their website or Facebook.
